Candidate Statement

I’m running for State Assembly because I want to use my 20+ years of political experience to preserve what’s so great about our neighborhoods and to fight for what we need – better transit, more public schools, and ensuring our neighborhoods remain affordable for everyone from young families to seniors. I’m also running because this district deserves a leader who understands and votes the right way on protecting a women’s right to choose and safeguarding our immigrant neighbors. These pivotal times demand an Assemblymember who knows how to get things done and cut through the red tape in Albany. I hope I’ll earn your vote on Thursday, September 13th.
