Meeting Recap: CFB Votes on Public Funds Payments and Enforcement Matters

The NYC Campaign Finance Board (CFB) voted to approve $6,280,701 in public matching funds payments to 48 candidates in the 2021 general election during a public meeting held this morning. In addition, the Board voted on enforcement actions for candidates in the 2017 election cycle. A video recording of the meeting will be available on the CFB's Youtube channel.

The CFB determined that two campaigns from the 2017 election cycle committed violations and assessed penalties for those violations. Refer to the tables below for more details on those determinations. The board also voted to lift the spending limit in the 2021 City Council District 17 general election, and to ratify the Chair's approval of previous public matching funds payments and a 7-09 petition.
