Reminder: NYC Votes Meeting on October 12

The next public meeting of the Campaign Finance Board's Voter Assistance Advisory Committee (VAAC) will be held on Wednesday, October 12, starting at 5:30 p.m. (A notice sent on Friday included an incorrect meeting date; we apologize for the error).

Members of the public are encouraged to register for the meeting which will be livestreamed via Zoom.

The meeting will focus on the 2022 midterm elections which will be completed on November 8. The NYC Racial Justice Commission will provide a presentation on the three NYC ballot proposals. CFB staff will discuss voter education plans via the NYC Votes campaign for the general election and review the agency's comprehensive report on the 2021 elections.

The meeting will include American Sign Language interpretation, CART transcription, and Spanish-language interpretation. If you require any additional accessibility accommodations please email access@nyccfb.info by close of business on Tuesday, October 11.

The Voter Assistance Advisory Committee consists of nine members who advise the Campaign Finance Board and its nonpartisan voter engagement initiative, NYC Votes. In addition to hosting post-election hearings, the committee recommends legislative and administrative changes to improve elections in New York City.
